Tanya is a Ph.D. student in the Clinical Psychology Program at Hofstra University. She is interested in trauma-specific interventions and community-based research. Specifically, she is interested in factors that explain why interpersonal violence is sustained within families and taking a systems-based approach to understanding how to address this. Tanya hopes to create frameworks that represent community structures and develop interventions to address those needs.
