Karis Treadwell (she/her) is a Ph.D. student in the Clinical Psychology Program at John Jay College/CUNY Graduate Center. She has also coordinated the Center for the Treatment and Study of Anxiety's PEACE Project, a dissemination initiative of Prolonged Exposure for PTSD following community violence in Philadelphia. Her research investigates equity for minoritized groups within the implementation of trauma-focused interventions, along with the long-term impact of trauma on support utilization and psychological outcomes for minoritized youth.
