Evelyn is a Ph.D. student in the Clinical Psychology Program at John Jay College/CUNY Graduate Center. Evelyn's research focuses on how trauma shapes psychological development in communities of color, especially within immigrant populations. She is particularly interested in the neuropsychological, physiological, and cognitive mechanisms underlying these effects. She is also interested in increasing access to bilingual (English/Spanish) mental health services to address the needs of underserved Latine population.
