Nevita George, MA is a Ph.D. student in the Clinical Psychology Program at Hofstra University and a Robert Wood Johnson, Health Policy Research Scholar. Her research explores the interaction of trauma and identity on the nature, severity, and course of mental illness among minoritized youth. Nevita also serves on the American Psychological Association (APA) Division 12's Diversity Committee and Advocacy Task Force, contributing to national efforts to advance equity in psychological science and practice.
